About this studio
Brasil's Nightclub has been Philadelphia's Latin dance destination since 1997. Located on Chestnut Street in Old City, it combines a working nightclub with regular dance instruction, making it a rare venue where you can take a lesson and then dance on the same floor.
The club runs a structured weekly schedule of dance nights. Zouk lessons happen on Tuesdays from 6:30–9:30 pm, with dancing continuing until midnight. Wednesday nights (¡Wepa!) open at 8:30 pm with a salsa lesson at 9:30 pm. Finally Fridays follow the same pattern — doors at 8:30 pm, salsa lesson at 9:30 pm. Salsational Saturdays offer a salsa lesson from 9:30–10:30 pm, with the club open 8:30 pm–2 am. Thursday events feature salsa, bachata and kizomba. All Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights carry a $10 cover charge. Lessons are taught by dancers described as "some of the world's greatest salsa dancers"; the venue was voted Philly's Favs in both 2024 and 2025.
The club operates a full bar with nightly drink specials and books top DJs to keep the floor active throughout the night. Private lessons are available for beginners or for dancers wanting to progress further. The space functions as a proper nightclub venue as well, hosting events and taking bookings.
