About this studio
ADTV Tanzschule Schröder Leipzig teaches ballroom, Latin and modern social dances from their studio on Hans-Poeche-Straße in central Leipzig. They run a flexible enrollment system starting from €10 per person per hour, making it easy to drop in or commit to longer courses.
The studio's core offering splits into pair dances — Standard, Latin and Discofox — and solo styles for those without a partner. Their BOP (Bewegen ohne Partner) classes include Latin American competitive dances from age 12, Linedance for all levels, and Ballroom Linedance covering Cha Cha, Jive, Waltz, Tango and Rumba. They also teach Salsa with what they describe as a modern approach focused on feel rather than technique stress.
Wedding couples are a specific focus: the studio offers a dedicated Hochzeitstanzkurs (wedding dance course) to teach the first dance, described as a key highlight guests anticipate. Private lessons are available as 55-minute one-to-one sessions for those catching up, preparing for an event, or brushing up.
The studio offers free trial classes for most courses. Courses run for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers across all styles. They also operate a second location in Söllichau.
