Azalea City Center for the Arts is a nonprofit organisation in Mobile, Alabama, founded in 2012 as an umbrella for multiple resident arts programmes. The centre converted a two-story warehouse on Midtown Park East into dedicated spaces for music lessons, dance classes, theater rehearsal, and set-building. This structure allows several independent programmes to share facilities and coordinate activities while keeping costs down for students and families.
The centre houses several resident programmes: Sunny Side Theater offers drama camps, voice, dance, and gymnastics classes, along with productions including main stage shows and the Actor's Edge acting studio, where students explore different acting methods and learn directing basics. Full Scale School of Music provides rockband classes, group classes, and private lessons on piano, guitar, drums, violin, strings, bass, woodwinds, brass, and music composition. Maccrossan School of Irish Dance teaches traditional Irish dance. Sunny Side Gymnastics offers recreational and competitive gymnastics as a member of USAG.
Special needs provision is central to the centre's work. Exceptional Arts Drama runs year-round with no age limit, meeting once weekly on evenings from 6:00–8:00pm. The programme aims to improve self-esteem and self-confidence, with participants performing three shows per year. The centre was originally home to Dance Without Limits, which has since expanded to its own location.
The centre offers summer camps, after-school programmes, and school and community outreach. Building rental is available for birthday parties, meetings, showers, and receptions.
