Bachata Bruxelles Salsa Latin Dance Evolution School

Latin Dance Evolution is a dance school founded in 2016 by Ahmedy, who teaches both Salsa and Bachata alongside his partner Caro. The school has grown into a performance ensemble and teaching academy rooted in professional-level instruction.

Ahmedy's background spans multiple Latin styles. He began with hip-hop and breakdance before discovering Salsa in 2006, training first in Cuban form then LA-style Salsa (On1). In 2012 he developed a passion for Bachata Moderna, refining his technique at festivals across Europe with artists such as Ataca & La Alemana. This experience shaped his Bachata Fusion style, which blends musical interpretation, fluidity and authentic tradition. By early 2017, the school competed in the World Bachata Masters (Group Category) and has since performed on major Belgian stages and international festivals. Since 2025, Ahmedy and Caro have been certified Bachazouk instructors—an evolved, expressive and fluid form of Sensual Bachata.

The school runs classes across three locations: Studio 28 (Rue des Deux Églises, Brussels), Salon CARDI (Place de Cuesmes, Mons) and Salle Fun en Bulles (Rue de Nivelles, Braine-le-Château). Tuesdays and Thursdays in Brussels and Mons offer Bachata classes at beginner/open level, intermediate level, and Salsa Romantica (On1). Fridays in Braine-le-Château run Salsa and Bachata at all levels, plus practica sessions. Classes are taught by Ahmedy and Caro, with additional instructors Laura (Latin dances, Pilates and well-being) and Marvin (yoga). The school also operates the LDE Bachata Team, a performance ensemble for intermediate-advanced dancers offering 8 professional training sessions, intensive coaching and a minimum of 5 guaranteed performances in Belgium and potentially abroad.

Beyond regular classes, the school hosts a full calendar of social events: Bachata Summer Program, Salsa Summer In The City, BruX Bachata Congress, ADAM Bachata Experience Festival, Soirée Latino Open Air, Tuesday After Work sessions, and participates in major festivals including Alpes Bachata Congress, Belgium Bachata Weekend, Adam Bachata Festival and Spring Connection Festival. The school also offers private lessons, choreographed shows, and event animation (weddings, birthdays, corporate functions) with professional sound and lighting across Belgium.

Drop into a Bachata or Salsa class at one of three accessible locations—no partner needed. Classes are structured by level (beginner/open, intermediate) and run back-to-back with practica sessions on some nights. Expect instruction in fundamentals like weight management and hip movement for Bachata, or On1 footwork for Salsa, delivered by experienced professionals who train continuously with international artists.

Ahmedy founded the school and teaches Salsa and Bachata with a Fusion style blending musicality and authenticity. Caro, his partner since 2019, teaches alongside him and leads Lady Styling workshops, blending Bachata with Street Jazz and Hip Hop influences. Laura teaches Latin dances with warmth and emphasis on personal connection; she also teaches Pilates and well-being. Marvin brings nearly 15 years of yoga practice, trained in India and teaching at Brussels studios including Mix Brussels, Yoga Room, The House of Yoga and Aspria.

Classes welcome absolute beginners and offer beginner/open-level instruction; partners are optional.
