The heart of the academy's deeper offering is its three-times-yearly Bachata Master Class programme, held on Mondays. These are structured 12-week intensive courses taught like private lessons for small groups. The Beginner Urban/Modern Master Class runs 7:00–8:30pm and covers seven essential moves, timing and musicality, frame and connection, turns, and choreography. The Intermediate Urban/Sensual Master Class (8:30–10:00pm) teaches advanced turns, sensual body movement, disassociation, folds, and dips—and is only open to graduates of the beginner course. Master classes sell out each session, so early enrollment is essential.
After classes, hundreds of dancers stay for social dancing from 10:00pm onwards. The academy also hosts special social events: Bachata Wednesdays and Sundays are ongoing weekly hangouts, and larger events like the Demetrio Rosario (DJ SooNaasty) Birthday Bachata Bash have been held (November 2026, with free 2-hour lessons, free tacos, and dancing until 3am, $10 cover).
