About this studio
Bailando Latino teaches Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and Rueda across two locations: Salle d'Eau in Lier (Grote Markt 28) and Zaal 't Centrum in Edegem (Strijdersstraat 35). The school has 300+ active members and is built on the belief that dancing is about pleasure, connection and being yourself on the floor, not perfection or pressure.
The studio offers six dance styles in total. Salsa comes in two forms — Salsa LA (with more show) and Salsa Cubana (spinning and playful). Bachata ranges from Moderna to Sensual. Kizomba, which originates from Angola, is positioned as one of the world's most intimate partner dances. Rueda is group Salsa in a circle with unexpected combinations and collective energy. All classes are open level and build step-by-step, welcoming complete beginners.
Classes run Monday to Thursday, with Lier hosting sessions 19:00–22:00 and Edegem 19:30–22:30. You don't need a partner or prior experience to start. The studio uses a rotation system where you switch partners during class to learn both leading and following, and to meet other dancers. You can drop in for single lessons or commit to a block; there are no fixed contracts. If you miss a class in one location, you can make it up at the other.
Bailando Latino runs regular social events and parties. Salsa @ the Beach runs every Thursday from May to September at Arkstraat 6, Kasterlee, with a wooden covered dance floor and free entry after 19:30. Summer Classes in Bachata, Rueda, and Kizomba run June through August at the same beach location (€12 per lesson or €40 for four). Workshop-and-party events include Kizomba @ the Beach and Bachata @ the Beach, each a full day with multiple instructors and DJ-led dancing into the evening.
The school also offers dance holidays: Dansvakantie Calpe (10–17 October 2026) on the Costa Blanca, and Dansvakantie Peloponnesos (14–21 May 2027), both all-inclusive with daily classes, social dancing and group meals. Private lessons are available. Your first lesson is free.

Book a free trial lesson during the trial week before each new session (no obligation, no cost). You'll experience the relaxed atmosphere and watch how classes rotate partners so everyone learns both roles. Classes build step by step, and beginners are welcomed.
