Puerto Habana sits at 12 Port Saint-Étienne in the heart of Toulouse, combining a restaurant, cocktail bar and dance venue across two floors. The venue has run Latin evenings for more than 15 years, hosting live DJ sets and a packed dancefloor throughout the week.
The schedule is shaped by night: Tuesday and Wednesday bring salsa atmosphere with guest DJs rotating through the month. Thursday is Eclectico Latino, the weekly fixture mixing salsa with broader Latin generalist music and offering happy hour until 22:30. Friday and Saturday shift into clubbing mode with reggaeton and dancing until 4 a.m.
Dance classes run in salsa and bachata, with beginner courses available. Salsa instruction is coordinated through Chahera; bachata classes are led by Julie. Both offer a pathway for those wanting to learn before joining the social dancing that fills the venue most nights.
The kitchen serves home-cooked cuisine and tapas with Caribbean and Latin American flavours. The bar specializes in rum and mojitos. The venue accepts table reservations for up to 14 people online, and handles group bookings above 15; private events are available on request.
