About this studio

BCN Dancing is a dance school in Barcelona specialising in salsa and bachata for beginners. Founded by Luis Tasayco, a dancer and teacher, the school was built on a simple idea: your first dance class should not be intimidating, but the best memory of your week.

The school teaches across multiple levels, from absolute beginners to more advanced dancers. Class styles include Salsa Básico 1 and 2, Salsa Cubana 1, Salsa en Línea 1, Bachata Básico 1 and 2, La Gozadera, and Lady Style. Classes run throughout the week at two locations: Sala Marina on Carrer de Sardenya, 69, and Sala Les Corts on Carrer de Caballero, 72. All classes are taught in Spanish, Catalan, and English.

You do not need to bring a partner. The school rotates partners during class so everyone practices with everyone. There is no age limit — adults of all ages are welcome. Classes continue year-round, including throughout August. The first class is free with no sign-up fee or membership commitment required.

Pricing is flexible. Individual membership options range from €49 per month for one class a week to €79 for unlimited classes. Drop-in single classes cost €15. Four-class packs valid for 60 days are €59, and eight-class packs are €89. Couple pricing is also available: €59–€89 per month depending on frequency, or €25 for a single drop-in class. There is no minimum commitment and you can cancel anytime without notice or penalty.

The studio also offers private lessons at €49 per hour, team-building packages with custom quotes, and event animation services. Payment options include direct debit, cash, Bizum, card, or bank transfer.
