Bryan Jordan Dance offers West Coast Swing (WCS) instruction in Prairieville and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Bryan Jordan is a native of Louisiana who has been competing at professional level and teaching WCS for over 25 years. He brings extensive knowledge of both traditional and modern styles of WCS, and has won numerous awards as a professional dancer and top teacher at local and national WCS dance events. Beyond teaching, Bryan serves as judge at WCS competition events and is Event Director for Swingapalooza, a national WSDC competition event held in Baton Rouge.
The studio offers both private lessons and group classes. Private lessons are available at $75 per hour, or $85 per hour plus floor fee for out-of-town lessons. Group classes run as 6-week sessions and are held at Jazzercise of Baton Rouge. The upcoming summer 2026 schedule includes an Open-level WCS class on Wednesdays (7:30–8:30 PM, $15 per person) and separate Beginner 1 and Beginner 2 classes on Thursdays (7 PM and 8 PM respectively, $15 per class or $20 for both). No partner is needed to join.
Beginner instruction is led by Bryan Jordan with assistant instructor Phoenix MacAiodh supporting the Beginner 1 level. The Open-level class features Bryan Jordan and Heidi Batdorf as professional instructors.
Beyond regular classes, Bryan Jordan Dance runs WCS social dance events. Swingapalooza social dances are held on selected Saturdays (such as 8:00 PM–12:00 AM on July 18, 2026) at $10 per person, featuring a DJ and a BYOB policy.

Classes are friendly to beginners—no partner needed to start. You'll join a structured group of dancers learning West Coast Swing in a studio space with other students at your level, taught by Bryan Jordan or his assistant instructors.
