Buenos Aires Dance Club

Buenos Aires Dance Club is a salsa school in Riobamba 72, CABA, dedicated entirely to salsa instruction. The studio specializes in Salsa Lineal and teaches through a carefully structured five-level system: Inicial, Principiante, Pre-intermedio, Intermedio, and Avanzado. Each level builds progressively, with curriculum designed so you master foundational technique before moving to more complex material.

The teaching team is led by Eva Holc, who has over 20 years of experience teaching salsa, and Eduardo Pieresko, known for his dedication and technical precision. The beginner level has a dedicated instructor for students starting from scratch, so you can join at any time without holding back the group. Classes focus on body connection essential for partner dancing, improvisation, and understanding the tools and combinations that make up figures—rather than memorising step sequences. You choose your role in class (leader or follower) regardless of gender.

Beyond weekly classes, the studio organizes Mini Bailes Sociales twice per week where you practice what you've learned and socialize with other students. A larger social dance event runs monthly, with food and birthday celebrations included. Two different monthly workshops explore new styles and techniques, and special classes dive deeper into new tools twice a month. Both workshops and special classes are free with Premium or Vip membership. The studio also organizes salidas salseras—outings to salsa events around Buenos Aires where you dance with classmates in real-world venues.

Advanced students can join the Laboratorio Salsero, a training program for those refining their salsa and wanting to deepen their skills. Classes are paired (Clases de Salsa en Pareja) and the studio also teaches Shines (Pasos Sueltos). The teaching philosophy centers on the idea that salsa is for everyone, celebrating diversity and freedom of expression, with each student advancing at their own pace under personalized teacher guidance.

You'll join a class grouped by your level, with an instructor who personalizes your progression. If you're a beginner, you'll have a dedicated instructor for the initial level. Classes emphasize body connection, partner technique, and learning to improvise and create combinations rather than follow choreography.
