About this studio
Ceroc Bath runs every Thursday at Batheaston New Village Hall on School Lane. You'll find doors open at 19:30, with a beginner lesson starting at 19:45, followed by beginner freestyle at 20:30. An intermediate lesson begins at 20:40 alongside a beginners practice session at 20:45. Freestyle for all dancers runs from 21:15 until the evening ends at 22:45.
Victor DeVito is your regular teacher, with Hannah and Kate helping on stage and a crew of experienced dancers providing extra support. The teaching method makes learning easy, sociable and fun, catering to a range of ability levels from nervous first-timer to dance floor master.
You can turn up alone, with a partner, or with friends—no advance booking is needed. Everyone gets moved around during lessons, giving you the chance to dance with a range of people in the room. Ceroc describes itself as a fusion of different dance styles, and the original, largest and fastest growing partner dance club in the UK.
The venue is warm and friendly with a relaxed atmosphere where you can let your hair down and meet new people of all ages and from all walks of life. Ceroc is active, so you will get warm—try wearing layers you can remove if necessary. The evening offers exercise suitable for all fitness levels, combined with a strong social element.
