About this studio

Ceroc Tapton Hall Sheffield runs weekly partner dance classes and freestyle social dancing every Tuesday at Tapton Hall, a Masonic Hall in Crosspool. The venue offers a great sound system, air conditioning, a fully licensed bar and on-site parking.

The schedule runs: Beginners Class at 7:30 for 7:45pm, followed by Freestyle Social Dancing at 8:30pm. An Intermediate Class or Beginners Practice Session runs at 9:00pm, with Freestyle Social Dancing from 9:30–10:45pm. You don't need to book ahead — just turn up and join.

Ceroc is a fusion of different dance styles taught as partner dance. The teaching method is built around learning at all levels, from nervous first-timers to experienced dancers. Whether you arrive alone, with a partner or in a group, you'll dance with many people during the evening. The team includes teacher Jeni, DJ Martin and the crew, who provide one-to-one help and ensure a warm welcome.

Membership costs £3 as a one-off fee for new members. Dance lessons and freestyle for members cost £9 per evening. New members can take advantage of the First Timers' 6 for 3 offer: pay £30 for 3 classes and get 6 — just ask at the door for the '643' offer. Payments are by cash or card.

The venue attracts dancers from across South Yorkshire and beyond, including from Chesterfield, Rotherham, Barnsley and further afield. Contact Jeni Liversidge by phone or email for more information.
