About this studio
City Dance is a dance studio operating since 2017 in Bratislava, with locations in Dúbravka (Pribišova 19A) and Dlhé Diely (M. Schneidera Trnavského 4). The studio moved to its current second location in 2021 and now offers classes across two modern, air-conditioned studios.
For children, City Dance runs a dance circle for ages 6–9, competitive dance sport, Mini Dance for ages 3–5, and gymnastics for ages 4–8. For adults, the studio offers ballroom dance classes, Latin Ladies, wedding dance, Zumba and Bailando Latino, and Pro-Am partnered dance. Both group and individual lessons are available. Ukrainian-language dance courses are also offered. Each group is created with attention to the student's age and basic experience level, and trial classes are available to help choose the right course.
The teaching team is led by Iryna Copp (club director and studio manager) and includes Marek Klič (principal instructor for Latin Ladies, Pro-Am, and adult ballroom dance, and wedding dance instructor), David Schavel (head trainer of standard dances in competitive dance sport), Maksym Shabatko (trainer of standard and Latin dances in competitive dance sport, fitness trainer, and wedding dance instructor), Zoya Nosova (Latin dance trainer in competitive dance sport), and Eleonora Posypaiko (Latin dance trainer in competitive dance sport).
The studio offers modern air-conditioned spaces available for hire. Open hours are Monday–Friday 16:30–21:00, Sunday 16:00–21:00, and Saturday by arrangement.
