Company Méduse Céleste
A dance studio in Paris, FR offering dance classes and instruction.
About this studio
Compagnie Méduse Céleste is a Paris/Issy-les-Moulineaux dance association whose mission is to spread dance through both practice and artistic creation, with a dual focus on swing and contemporary dance. Founded in 2012, the studio centers its teaching on energy, conviviality, musical listening, and improvisation.
The school teaches a broad range of swing dances — Lindy Hop, Jazz Roots, Balboa, Shag, Blues, and Rock — alongside Cuban Salsa and a parallel program of Yoga and meditation (including Hatha Yoga and children's dance/yoga awakening classes). Group classes, private lessons, workshops (stages), and themed evenings are offered for both adults and children across multiple levels.
Beyond regular instruction, Méduse Céleste specializes in event work: wedding first-dance choreography, bachelor/bachelorette parties, team-building, demonstrations, and film shoots. A blog covers swing dance technique, swing music, and the history of the swing dances.
