Dance 10 opened in September 1986 at the American Legion with 35 students and a clear mission: to teach proper dance training and technique while building strong, confident young people. The studio has since grown and moved to its home at 5 Hillcrest Avenue in Wethersfield, Connecticut.
The studio's approach centres on four core benefits. Dance classes combine cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility training suited to kids of all ages. The studio emphasises self-expression and individualism, aiming to improve self-esteem through dance. The interactions created in the studio environment foster friendships and mentor relationships that differ from typical school or sports settings.
