Dance Factory Nürnberg is the largest dance school in the Nuremberg metropolitan region, offering a diverse programme of courses and workshops across many dance styles for children, teens and adults of all ages. The school operates five studios spread across Vordere Cramergasse, each with different specifications and technical facilities.
The five studios range from 75 to 105 square metres. Studio 1 (96 sqm) features a sprung floor with dance carpet, two mirrored walls, dimmable lighting and modern sound system, plus a changing room with shower and a small kitchenette. Studio 2 (90 sqm plus 25 sqm stage) has a wooden sprung floor that can be set with parquet or red PVC dance carpet, two mirrored walls with curtains, dimmable lighting and is equipped with WCs, changing rooms and two showers. Studio 3 (75 sqm) features a sprung floor, two mirrored walls with curtains, ballet barres and sound system, also with WCs, changing rooms and two showers. Studio 4 (75 sqm) is furnished in vintage style with crystal chandeliers, a PVC dance floor, mirror wall, modern sound system and teakitchen. Studio 5 (105 sqm) is the largest, with two mirror walls, a high-quality Harlequin sprung floor, ballet barres, modern sound system and changing rooms.
The school runs courses for children (Kinderkurse), teens (Teenskurse) and adults (Erwachsenenkurse), plus a fitness and health programme. It also offers workshops, hen parties (JGAs), children's birthday parties, individual offers and dance sponsorships (Tanzpatenschaften). Registration is available via the free Tanzfabrik app for booking classes and workshops, purchasing 10-class cards and setting up subscriptions. The infopoint is located at Vordere Cramergasse 11 in the courtyard, entrance TH 9, basement level, and is open 15:30–21:00 weekdays.
Studios 1, 4 and 5 are owned by Dance Factory and available for hourly or longer-term rental. Studios 2 and 3 are rented from the Roten Bühne. The school hosts a Tag der offenen Tür (open day) on 18 October. Summer dance weeks run from 3–28 August.
