About this studio
Dance With Me Sydney is a Latin dance studio in Waterloo, NSW offering Salsa, Bachata and Heels classes for beginners through to advanced dancers. The studio runs structured four-week beginner courses designed for absolute beginners with no experience or partner required. Your first class is free, allowing you to experience the energy before committing.
Beginner Salsa classes run Wednesdays at 6:00pm and cover timing and rhythm, right and left turns, Cross Body Lead, partner connection and lead-and-follow technique. Beginner Bachata classes run Mondays at 6:00pm and build basic timing and footwork, smooth partner connection, simple turns and combinations, body movement foundations, and confidence for social dancing. Both courses are designed so each class builds naturally, preparing you for social dancing by the end of the four weeks. Salsa Level 2 and Level 3 courses are available for those progressing beyond the fundamentals.
Heels classes run Fridays from 6:30–7:30 PM with Jerelyn. This class is designed for anyone new to heels and focuses on building technique, strength, confidence, posture and presence in a fun, supportive environment. A five-class pass costs $55, or drop in for $20. Your first heels class is free.
The studio offers two spaces available for hire: a large studio with spacious open floor plan, professional dance flooring, full-length mirrors, high-quality sound system, air conditioning and excellent lighting, suitable for group classes, rehearsals, workshops and performances; and a medium studio perfect for private lessons, small group classes and focused rehearsals, also with professional dance flooring, full-length mirrors, sound system and air conditioning. Both studios welcome all styles including ballroom, Latin, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, heels, salsa, bachata, fitness and yoga.
The studio runs regular Salsa and Bachata parties where you can practise what you learn and improve quickly through real social dancing. Performance courses and events including the Bailando Sensual Festival and Red Carpet Gala are also offered. Private lessons and wedding dance instruction are available. Classes are not just about learning moves—they emphasise meeting friends, building community and developing real partner connection skills in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Partner rotation happens in class so you can try different partners, and the instructors are experienced and friendly.
