About this studio
Dancin' Oxford is Oxfordshire's leading dance organization, based at Oxford Town Hall on St Aldate's. Over the past 15 years, they have become nationally recognized as the creator of extraordinary dance festivals with an emphasis on community engagement.
The organization is committed to engaging diverse audiences and nurturing Oxfordshire's dance talent through producing, commissioning and programming exciting new dance productions at grass roots level within local communities. They work closely with local communities and in partnership with several significant arts venues and organizations, including Pegasus Theatre, Oxford Playhouse, the North Wall Arts Centre, The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury, and Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot.
They run festivals in Spring, Summer and Autumn, alongside shows throughout the year. The organization operates a Dancers in Residence program and actively invites community involvement. Dancin' Oxford receives support from Arts Council England, Oxford City Council, and the Council's Arts Development Officer.
