The New York location sits steps from Times Square and one block from Madison Square Garden, positioned between 7th and 8th Avenue in Midtown. The studio offers a structured membership system: Foundations / Level 1 ($99), Levels 1–2 ($225), Unlimited membership ($300 in New Jersey), and single drop-in classes ($35 in New Jersey). A minimum 3-month commitment applies to all recurring memberships. Private lessons are available through the Mindbody booking platform, and the studio offers both one-on-one and private group lessons.
Beyond regular classes, Empire runs parties, workshops, and social dance events. The studio also facilitates team training through the Empire World Team Project, which teaches full-level partnerwork routines using the studio's professional team system.
For dance teachers, the studio offers a 5-month teachers training programme (1 hour per week, 20 hours total) personally led by Adolfo Indacochea, assisted by Tania Cannarsa and Nathalia Raigosa. The programme covers technique and body mechanics, musicality and timing, partnerwork fundamentals, class structure and progression, and how to explain and correct movement. Participants build their own 12-week repeatable course in the final phase. Training graduates gain VIP access to the Empire Skool community, including weekly training with Indacochea and other Empire instructors, full course library access, and Q&A sessions. The studio notes it has helped over 200 dance teachers through this programme.
The studio maintains a zero-tolerance policy on harassment, discrimination, bullying, and inappropriate conduct both on-site and off-site. Cancellations of recurring memberships must be submitted in writing at least 7 days before the next renewal date; early cancellations within the minimum 3-month commitment period incur a $100 fee.
