Cuban Groove Peru is a salsa school in Lima run by instructor Luxe Coronado, who has spent more than 10 years training dancers in Cuban techniques and traditional Cuban rhythms. The school teaches group classes at multiple levels, from absolute beginners through intermediate, plus specialized workshops in Cuban Lady Style, Timba Fusion, and Raíces Cubanas (Afrocubano). All classes are held in Miraflores and cost S/.180 per session.

The teaching method combines authentic Afrocubano technique with practical, music-focused instruction. Classes are small and personalized, with the school emphasizing that you learn by dancing, not by watching. The approach is tailored to adult learners without pressure, and students are encouraged to feel the music while mastering the foundational movements. Coronado is described by students as patient, technically proficient, and passionate about transmitting both the steps and the cultural roots of Cuban dance.

The school runs group classes on a weekly schedule: Salsa Cubana Básico meets Friday 8–10 PM and Saturday 3–4:30 PM; Cuban Lady Style on Thursday 8–10 PM; Salsa Cubana Intermedio on Tuesday 8–10 PM; Timba Fusion on Saturday 6–7:30 PM; and Raíces Cubanas on Saturday 4:30–6 PM. Beyond group instruction, Cuban Groove also offers one-to-one private classes, online lessons, and wedding choreography services. The school organizes social dance events where students can practice in real party settings.

Students report rapid progress from the first classes and highlight the complete, integrated approach that covers technique, musicality, Afrocubano fundamentals, space awareness, and expression. The studio has a 5.0 Google rating across 74 reviews, with testimonials emphasizing Coronado's energy, professionalism, patience with detail, and ability to help dancers of all levels gain confidence and perform at social venues.
