Esta Noche Dance Company was founded in 2021 by Jonathan Godinez, Jennifer Isabel and Brian Gomez. The studio is located at 7007 Bandera Road, Suite 10 in Leon Valley, and operates Monday through Saturday, open to the general public.
The studio teaches Salsa On2, Bachata, Rueda De Casino and Zumba. Classes are structured around beginner bootcamps: the Salsa On2 Absolute Beginner Bootcamp runs for 4 weeks (8 hours total) with classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, while the Bachata Beginner Bootcamp also runs 4 weeks with classes on Mondays and Thursdays. Both bootcamps cover footwork and partnerwork. Private lessons are also available in packages of 3 or 5 sessions.
Beyond classes, Esta Noche runs regular social dance events. The Esta Noche Social takes place every 2nd and 4th Friday, featuring Salsa and Bachata dancing until 2am in a friendly environment for all levels. A free Salsa/Bachata class runs at 9pm, and a Beginner Power Hour happens from 10–11pm. College students with valid ID get in for $10. The studio also hosts Brunch Sabroso, a free monthly event held on the first Sunday at Sam's Burger Joint by the Pearl, featuring Salsa and Bachata from 1–4pm with a free Bachata class at 1:30pm.
The team includes Jonathan and Jennifer as owners, instructors and choreographers, Anthony Vincent as instructor and resident DJ, Andrea as studio manager and instructor, America as an instructor, and Tory in marketing. Performance opportunities are available through the studio's dance teams.
Esta Noche also runs special events including the annual Halloween Bash, and offers an Esta Noche Loyalty Program and merchandise.
