Evolve Dance Company has been serving the Toledo area for over 12 years, offering dance training for ages 3 and up at both recreational and competitive levels. Erica Bojicic founded and directs the studio alongside an experienced staff. The studio is home to Elite, Teen, Jr, and Mini competitive dancers and has been successful at regional and national competitions throughout 11 seasons of operation.
The teaching philosophy at Evolve emphasises commitment, goal setting, discipline, encouragement, and camaraderie. You'll find an environment designed to develop artistic excellence through intensive technical dance training, where dancers are encouraged to evolve into confident performers. The staff delivers tailored coaching to each student, and the studio prides itself on the trust, loyalty, and dedication the team brings.
The teaching staff holds Bachelors' and Masters' degrees and brings diverse backgrounds to the studio. Several instructors have danced on university dance teams, performed professionally, and trained across the country. The team includes Madie Tucker (Company Instructor), Andrea Young (Company Instructor), Rose Roberts (Recreational & Company Instructor), Emma Rahn (Recreational & Company Instructor), Lauren Przybylski-Harris (Recreational & Company Instructor), Sheila Gibson (Ballet Instructor), and Nathalia Scott (Recreational Instructor). Each season, members of the elite competitive company volunteer during class instruction to assist with recreational classes.
Beyond dance training, Evolve is active in the local community. The studio has worked with Cancer Connection of Northwest Ohio and several other charities, giving thousands of dollars each year to community causes. The studio operates Monday through Thursday, 4:30–8:30 PM.
