About this studio
HT Dance Glasgow is a Latin dance school founded in summer 2021 by Helen and Thana. They teach Salsa and Bachata to students of all levels, with a mission to provide more than just dance classes — they aim to create a unique experience where students grow mentally and physically as dancers.
Classes are structured by level. Complete Beginner classes are designed for those new to dance, with instructors providing personalised attention in a supportive environment. Improvers Level offers a chance to master new movements and build confidence, while Intermediate/Advanced classes focus on dynamic exploration of new moves and timeless classics with personalised attention for advanced students.
Classes run on a block system with progressive content, so the best time to join as a newcomer is at the start of a new block. You don't need to bring a partner — Salsa and Bachata are social dances, and the studio pairs dancers regularly throughout class to build community. The studio holds taster sessions for absolute beginners.
Classes meet at two locations: Tuesdays at Move Studios (27-45 Stockwell Pl, Glasgow G1 4HS) and Thursdays at Dance Glasgow City Centre Studios (22 Jamaica St, Glasgow G1 4QD). Both are in Glasgow city centre. The studio's instructors are highly trained with experience in teaching and performing various styles and disciplines.
For pricing, a 7-week block of 2 courses costs £95, or an Unlimited Pass for 3 hours or more per week for 7 weeks costs £135. Contact the studio by email, or follow their Instagram and Facebook for up-to-date class and event information — they note that social media and WhatsApp groups are updated more regularly than the website.
