About this studio
Kadanses is a dance school in Castelnau-le-Lez offering collective classes, private lessons, intensive stages and social dance events. Their teaching philosophy centres on passion for dance, shared learning and a welcoming atmosphere.
They teach a range of styles across Latin, African and US dance traditions. Salsa comes in Cuban and Portoricaine styles, with solo styling and couple passes. Bachata is offered in Dominicaine, Sensuelle and Fusion variants. Kizomba and Semba are taught as couple dances with emphasis on musicality and partnering. Afro styles include Ndombolo, Afrobeats and Kuduru. Rock covers both old and modern styles with swing. Just Dance is a freestyle solo class covering funk, moonwalk, rock swing, charleston, waves, isolation and music from reggae, zouk and raï traditions.
Classes run at all levels, with Level 1 designed for complete beginners. Partners are not required; the school balances registration between leaders and followers, rotating partners during class for better learning. The school operates two studios: Studio Zépétra on the second floor and Studio Loft Aquabike, both at the same address.
Beyond weekly classes, Kadanses offers stages with custom programmes, private tuition for rapid progress, DJ and animation services for events, and professional training. They host evening dance socials and provide entertainment for weddings, corporate events, EVJF celebrations and open-air gatherings. New term starts 7 September 2026. You can try classes free of charge either during open house events or by booking afterwards.
