KICKS Academy of Dance has been teaching children's dance in Glen Mills since 1992. Founded by Kristin and John Davis, the studio is now owned and directed by Angela Bates-Majewski, who took over in summer 2020. The studio draws students from across the local area—Chadds Ford, Garnet Valley, Wilmington, Delaware County, West Chester, and Kennett Square.
The studio's approach centers on building confidence and promoting fun through quality dance education in a family-friendly environment. Classes are organized by age and grade level, with offerings that span from Toddler and Me to advanced levels. The studio maintains a detailed class schedule with different levels marked as Fundamental and Classic.
Beyond regular classes, KICKS runs an extensive summer program. Summer 2026 includes Fairytale Dance Camp (ages 2–7), Phillies Dance Camp (ages 7–12), Blue Rocks Dance Camp (ages 6–11), Mini K-Pop Star Dance Camp (ages 5–7), Acro & Cheer Camp (ages 7–12), K-Pop Star Dance Camp (ages 7–12), Shooting Stars Dance Camp (ages 7–12), and a Summer Dance Intensive (ages 7–19). Summer drop-in classes are available for all ages.
Recitals are a core part of the KICKS experience. The studio hosts a Holiday Show and a Year-End Recital each season. For students seeking deeper involvement, there is a company program with auditions held in August, company classes, and company events. The studio also offers dance birthday parties and maintains a student portal for enrolled families.
