About this studio
Lento Dance Studio occupies Traungasse 14–16 in Vienna's 3rd district. The studio teaches Bachata (both Sensual and Traditional), Salsa, Kizomba, and Heels across all levels from Beginner to Advanced. Classes run throughout the week with a beginner-friendly session every day at 18:00, and you can join without registration or a partner.
The teaching team includes internationally certified instructors: Karina, Xara, Nox (who also organises), Olga, Laurenz, Alex, Anna, Pargol, Paul, Veronika, Kristina, and Marta. Co-founders and CEOs Ali and Omar lead the operation. The studio emphasises creating a welcoming community atmosphere where beginners and experienced dancers train together.
Classes are structured for all levels and conducted in English, though instructors speak German as well. You can pay by cash or online, with drop-in single classes available from €8–14 depending on your status and level, or join a progressive monthly membership. The studio operates a flexible, no-registration-required model.
Beyond classes, Lento runs weekly socials every Wednesday at Palais Freiluft Gallery for social dancing. The studio also hosts the Lento Dance Festival, a major event held outside the studio (July 31–August 2 at Hyatt Regency Vienna) that closes the studio during that period.
