About this studio
Luis A. Puertha teaches three regional styles of salsa across three locations in the Bordeaux area. Classes focus on Salsa Caleña, Salsa Cubaine and Salsa Portoricaine — each with its own character and rhythm.
Classes run Monday evenings in Bourg-Sur-Gironde from 17h to 20h. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday sessions are held at the main studio on Cours Victor Hugo (51 Cours Victor Hugo, Bordeaux) from 18h to 21h. Friday classes take place in Cubzac-Les-Ponts from 18h to 21h. The teaching approach emphasizes a festive, warm and friendly atmosphere.
The studio actively encourages social dancing: many partners attend classes specifically to dance with you, and the environment is designed to build connections on and off the floor. This is backed up by regular social events where you can put what you've learned into practice with friends.
First-time visitors are invited to come and discover the classes in that welcoming setting — no pressure, just the chance to experience the energy and community the school has built.
