About this studio
Miami Salsa Driven has been teaching salsa since 2007, built on the principle that walking into a dance studio for the first time is the hardest step. The team brings a fresh, younger approach to salsa instruction in a relaxed and social environment.
Group classes run three nights a week at their Miami Shores location on 7300 NE 4th Ct. Tuesday and Thursday offer Salsa All Levels from 8:15pm–9:45pm, with separate instruction for beginners and intermediate/advanced dancers. Wednesday brings Bachata All Levels from 8:15pm–9:15pm, taught in sensual style with turn patterns, divided by level after warm-up. Classes begin with 8–10 minutes of footwork and shines, then move into partner work. The studio holds a 36-dancer limit per class.
They specialise in On1 style salsa—a linear style danced on the downbeat, popular worldwide—but instructors are also trained in Miami-style Casino, Cuban Rueda, and Mambo New York styles. Private lessons are available for single dancers or couples, with packages ranging from one session ($100) to ten hours ($800 for individuals, $80 per hour; couples add $10–$20 per hour). Private lessons can be scheduled Monday–Saturday, and the 10-hour package is valid for up to 10 months.
Group class pricing is flexible: drop in at $25 per night, or buy packages of 10 nights for $170 ($17 per night) or 20 nights for $150 ($15 per night if you buy two packages). Packages are valid for six months and can be used across their locations. Reservations are required; book online or call/text the studio with your preferred date. Cancellations are free if made before 12pm the same day.
The studio operates from Mady's Dance Factory, which features wood floors and an in-studio feel. Wednesday Bachata classes are taught at Bolivar on South Beach (841 Washington Ave, Miami Beach), where dancers also enjoy dinner, happy hour, and exclusive cocktails after class. The team occasionally offers special workshops and salsa classes at the Murano for residents.
