About this studio
Pole Dance University runs two studios in Warsaw — one in Bemowo at ul. Człuchowska 66 and another in Ursus at ul. Kompanii Kordian 3. Both locations teach pole dance, exotic pole, aerial hoop, and stretching classes.
You do not need to be strong, fit, flexible or experienced to start. The studio emphasises that beginners begin from zero. Classes are labelled "od podstaw" (from basics) and structured for people who have never trained pole dance before. The instructors show exercises step by step, explain technique carefully, and each person gets their own pole for the entire class — a rule the studio calls "1 person = 1 pole". The instructor observes participants, corrects technique, and stays close by to ensure safety at every stage.
The schedule at Bemowo includes Pole Dance od podstaw on Mondays at 19:00, Exotic Pole od podstaw on Fridays at 21:00, Teens Pole (for ages 11–15) on Thursdays at 17:00, and Aerial Hoop od podstaw on Saturdays at 10:00. Ursus runs Pole Dance od podstaw on Mondays at 18:00 and Thursdays at 21:00, Exotic Pole od podstaw on Fridays at 20:00, and Teens Pole on Tuesdays at 17:00.
First classes begin with a warm-up, then move to basic technique, simple rotations and figures suited to beginners. You are expected to bring nothing and know nothing in advance. A trial lesson costs 45 zł. Drop-in rates are 64 zł per class, with multi-visit passes ranging from 220 zł (4 visits) to 590 zł (16 visits). Passes are valid for 4 weeks from the first class date. The studio also offers personal training at 180 zł for 1:1 or 260 zł for 2 people, plus a 4-lesson package at 720 zł. Open pole (self-directed training time) is 39 zł and room rental is 150 zł.
The teaching team includes Magdalena K., Magda B., Ela R., Ola K., Ania K., Klaudia Ł., Gabi G., Dominika D., and Angelika B., each qualified to teach pole dance, exotic pole, aerial hoop, teens pole, and stretching depending on their specialisation. Co-owners Karolina and Michał manage student contact and studio operations.
