Portland Dance Studio is a self-serve rental space for dancers, choreographers, and performers in southeast Portland. The business operates five separate studios, each with different sizes, amenities and hourly rates, available for booking through an online calendar system.
Studio 100-B is the largest space at approximately 745 square feet (625 sq ft main space plus 120 sq ft entry), with over 600 square feet of dancefloor. It features a full wall of mirrors, rainbow-lit walls with special lighting and sparkle lights on the ceiling, 10 chairs onsite, natural lighting from a window facing a neighbouring structure, composite flooring, and bluetooth sound with aux option. Studio 100-B costs $15.44 before 6pm Monday to Friday, $26 after 6pm, and $26 all day at weekends.
Studio 102 is marked as the "loudest studio" with high noise tolerance, suitable for loud rehearsals. It's approximately 460 square feet with a long wall mirror, ballet barre, composite flooring, and similar audio options. A privacy door blocker is pending repair. Rates are $15.44 before 6pm weekdays, $22 after 6pm, and $22 weekends.
Studio 103 is a bright, newer space with 20 feet of mirrors and almost 500 square feet of dancefloor. It includes 10 chairs and 2 tables onsite, natural lighting with privacy film and optional black-out curtains, and very bright lighting. It's currently on limited-time grand opening rates: $14 before 6pm and after 6pm on weekdays, and $14 all day weekends.
Studio 104 includes a piano and features gold and black trim around the mirror. The space is approximately 520 square feet with laminate flooring, dimmable lighting, a television, and a tap water cooler. Rates are $15.44 before 6pm weekdays, $24 after 6pm, and $24 weekends.
Studio 106 is the smallest and cheapest option at approximately 450 square feet. It has a long wall mirror, composite flooring, dimmable lighting, television, and tap water cooler. Rates are $15.44 before 6pm weekdays, $20 after 6pm, and $20 weekends.
All studios feature high ceilings, wifi, power outlets, and cleaning supplies. The building is air conditioned. The business uses a self-serve reservation process and membership is free to join. Studios can be used for dance, yoga, martial arts, burlesque, comedy, and drama.
