About this studio

QS Dance is a salsa and bachata school in Málaga founded and run by Sandra and Quique, who serve as teachers, choreographers and the creative heart of the studio. They have more than 15 years of teaching experience and have trained thousands of students using their own method.

The studio teaches four defined levels. Level 0 – Inicio is for people who have never danced or want to start from the basics. Level 1 – Principiante is for those who already know some fundamental steps. Level 2 – Intermedio focuses on technique, musicality and more elaborate figures. Level 3 – Avanzado is for refining style, fluency and connection at the highest level. Each class lasts approximately 90 minutes and combines salsa and bachata, covering everything from basic movements to dynamic figures and sequences.

The teaching team includes Celia and Jose, described as bringing energy, style and complicity to their classes, focusing on polishing technique while keeping the spark alive. Davinia and Isaac bring elegance, force and flow, combining precision and feeling so that each figure has intention and each turn tells a story. Raquel manages schedules, messages and logistics to keep everything running smoothly. A rotation system means you don't need to bring a partner — you'll dance with different people and progress in a balanced way.

Your first class at Nivel Inicio 0 is completely free and without commitment. The studio emphasises that classes are designed for adults of all ages, and that what matters is the desire to learn, connect and enjoy yourself. The school operates Monday to Friday, 9–14 and 17–20. Beyond group classes, QS Dance offers private lessons and wedding and event packages. The studio also organises social activities — events, trips to dance congresses, hiking, dinners and moments shared both on and off the dance floor. Students often describe choosing the school for the classes but staying for the community and atmosphere.
