Beyond the studio, ShumdeSalsa hosts regular social events, including the monthly Shum Social held on the last Thursday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., where students can dance outside the classroom. The studio also runs a Performance Dance Team and hosts festivals and workshops. Upcoming events include the Tradiciones Workshop II (August 23, 2026) featuring instructors Roberto Riberon, Jorge Luis "Papiosco", Angel Luis Marquez, and Jorge Betancourt.
