Solum is a dance school in the Consolação neighbourhood of São Paulo offering ballroom and Latin styles. The school runs regular classes throughout the week at beginner level across a wide range of styles: Zouk, Forró, Sertanejo, Gafieira, Salsa, Bachata, Piseiro, Samba Rock, Tango, Kizomba, and Bolero. They also teach women-specific classes including Ladies Forró, Sertanejo Ladies, Expressões Femininas, Stiletto/Heels, and K-POP.
Beyond regular weekly classes, Solum runs intensive courses on Sundays for beginners wanting rapid progress. These 3-hour intensive courses cover Salsa, Sertanejo, Zouk, and Forró. Saturday intensives in August focus on Samba Rock and Tango. If you prefer one-to-one instruction, private classes are available for personalised learning.
The school hosts regular social dance parties (bailes) where you can practise what you've learned. Recent events include Zouk and Sertanejo dances, Forró evenings, and Super Sábado parties. New regular classes start each month, with August sessions beginning across the week: Salsa and Bachata on Mondays, Forró on Tuesdays, and Zouk, Sertanejo, Forró, Gafieira, and Piseiro on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
