Swing Dream Factory is a swing dance school in Rome directed by Vincenzo Fesi, one of the world's most renowned swing dancers. He teaches, performs and choreographs at prestigious festivals across five continents, bringing that mastery back to his studio. The school is built around three core dance styles: Lindy Hop, Balboa and Solo Jazz.
Classes are organised by level. Primi Passi (first steps) classes are designed for people discovering the swing world for the first time. Separate courses serve those with some dancing experience already. The school also runs Swing Jam, described as intensive, special training with Vincenzo Fesi himself.
Vincenzo Fesi's artistic direction emphasises stimulating, enjoyable learning that stays connected to the African-American tradition of the 1930s and 1940s. Swing music is central to every lesson, so students immerse themselves in the heritage of the swing era. The teaching team is in constant training and alignment to maintain consistent high standards across all lessons and activities.
Swing Dream Factory operates from two locations: All Dance (Via Biordo Michelotti 21) and H2O Fitness Center (Via del Pigneto 108), both in the 00176 postal area of Rome. The school is registered as an SSD a RL (a sports association with limited liability) and hosts international guest instructors alongside its core team. Beyond regular classes, the school organises exclusive events, most notably Jam Factory, a festival bringing swing excellence to Rome.
