About this studio
Tango Inspiration teaches Argentine tango at their own studio, Danzarín, located at Upplandsgatan 49 near Odenplan in central Stockholm. The studio is run by Cristina and Tommy, who between them bring 30 years of experience in dance and teaching authentic tango from Buenos Aires.
They offer group courses at all levels, with new sessions starting in spring. Private lessons are also available and can be tailored to your specific needs and pace of learning. Both are bookable via email.
Beyond classes, Tango Inspiration runs regular social dancing. Milongas (tango dance evenings) take place on Saturdays and Thursdays throughout 2026 at 18:00–20:30, with specific dates including 24 January, 7 February, 21 February, 21 March, 18 April, 28 May, 11 June and 20 August. These evenings feature what the studio describes as the best music and the best dance floor.
Práctica milonguera (practice sessions) happen on Sundays from 16:00–18:00, resuming 6 September after summer. Práctica is a two-hour session where you can practise what you've just learned or simply dance to music. Tommy is available for questions and help, and the sessions include coffee and cake in the bar. Cost is 100 kr per person.
You're welcome to bring a dance partner to any session.
