TANGO maldito | Tango Argentino München

TANGO maldito is Munich's first tango school, established in 1989. They teach Argentine Tango to beginners, intermediate students, and advanced dancers, with a curriculum that includes body work for tango dancers and private instruction. The school describes their teaching as professional and effective, tailored to each student's individual needs—whether you're starting out or already experienced.

Beyond regular classes, TANGO maldito organizes milongas (tango social dances) that draw dancers from across the region and beyond. They host large live events featuring well-known tango orchestras, many from Buenos Aires, and run tango marathons that attract aficionados from around the world. The school has become known as a pioneer in developing tango in Germany, with a reputation that extends far beyond Munich's city limits.

The studio is located at Neumarkter Straße 71 in the Giesing district. They previously operated from the C4 Studio (formerly a car workshop) between 2015 and 2020 before moving to their current location. The school offers a structured course system across different levels and maintains an active calendar of classes, events, and social gatherings.

You can reach TANGO maldito by public transport: the tram stop Schlüsselbergstraße is 322 meters away, the bus stop Neumarkter Straße is 271 meters away, and several U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations are within walking distance (U6 Josephsburg 1 km away, S-Bahn Leuchtenbergring 600 m away, Berg am Laim 900 m away).

Classes are structured by level—beginners, intermediate, and advanced—so you'll work with dancers at a similar stage. The school emphasizes personalized attention alongside professional instruction, and a welcoming atmosphere that frames tango as a world of feeling, longing, and passion.

The school explicitly serves beginners with dedicated classes and says instruction is tailored to individual needs.
