The "One Dance Special" group (18:30–19:30) teaches a different dance each month, chosen by participants and trainer together, while the "Happy Dancing" group (19:30–20:30) focuses on disco and disco latino. Both require no prior experience but are structured to let beginners and experienced dancers improve at their own pace; trainers work with each pair individually rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. A free practice session, "Free Dancing+" with trainer and music, follows from 20:30–21:30.
The club also runs a competitive programme. Recent achievements include trainers Ina and Martina competing at the Berlin Open 2026 equality tournament, where they reached second place in the Latin Class C semi-final and fourth in Standard Class C. The club participates in the Niedersächsische Breitensport-Serie (Lower Saxony recreational dance series) and hosts training sessions for competitive pairs in standard and Latin ballroom styles.
Entry is possible year-round. Solo dancers can be matched with partners; prospective members should contact Stephan or simply attend a Thursday session. The club also maintains a partner-finding exchange (Tanzpartnerbörse) for those seeking dance partners.

Your first visit
Drop in on a Thursday at Freizeitheim Vahrenwald: the One Dance Special group starts at 18:30, Happy Dancing follows at 19:30, and both are open to newcomers.
