About this studio
The Embassy Room Brussels opened in 2019 as a dance school and events venue run by Lidia and Diego, two passionate dancers and organisers. They've built a space that combines daily classes with regular social nights and a fully equipped events hall.
The school teaches Bachata, Salsa, Kizomba, Lindy Hop, Body Synthese, and Latino styles. You'll find 15 hours of classes each week, with courses every day of the week across all levels. Eight qualified, certified instructors deliver the teaching—all handpicked by Lidia and Diego for their pedagogical skill and experience. The school is affiliated with the Fédération de Danse (FWBDS), and both founders are certified instructors.
Social dancing is central to the offer. Every Friday there's a bachata night with a salsa touch, and every Sunday a Cuban salsa night. Both evenings feature rotating DJs specialising in Latin music. Tuesday's Salsa and Bachata classes, and Thursday's Lindy Hop classes, are followed by practicas so you can apply what you've learned immediately.
The venue itself has a welcoming atmosphere: a colourful bar, armchair seating areas, and a fully equipped stage. It's become a social hub in Brussels where you can take classes, practise with friends, and enjoy live music and comedy nights. The space is available to rent for concerts, corporate events, birthdays, weddings and other occasions—complete with sound, lighting, instruments and stage.
The school reports 110 students and has run over 1 year of experience in dance and event organisation, with more than 50 artists having performed on The Embassy's stage.
