About this studio
The Essence of Tango is an Argentine Tango studio in Brisbane, Australia, with two locations in Toowong and Kelvin Grove. It offers private tango lessons and group classes for individuals and couples, with no partner or prior experience necessary. The studio frames tango not just as learning steps but as developing poise, elegance, balance and connection — a genuinely social dance built on walking, turning, stopping and adornments, and on the creative, improvised conversation between partners and the music.
