About this studio

The Goddess Room is a dance studio in Rotterdam founded by Rony Louanne in February 2022. It's designed as a safe space where women and anyone identifying with feminine energy can connect through dance, healing and community.

Classes focus on heels-based choreography taught across several styles: modern contemporary, R&B heels, Caribbean heels, slow and sexy, and sensual flow. Each month covers one complete choreography over four or five classes (depending on the calendar). You progress through it week by week, so it helps to start in week one or two to learn the full piece. The teaching philosophy is clear: feeling good and expressing yourself matters more than nailing every step. As the studio puts it, "It's all a process goddess."

Rony Louanne trained at Lucia Marthas dance academy in Amsterdam and brings professional dance experience to the studio. She created The Goddess Room after her own journey reconnecting with her sensuality through dance, particularly dancing on heels. The studio is set up for groups of 15 women maximum per class.

Each month ends with a performance class in the final week. A professional female videographer attends to film you solo, in small groups, or with the full group—only if you choose. The space is decorated with professional lighting, a smoke machine and other elements to create atmosphere for the filming.

The studio welcomes complete beginners with no dance experience; no prior skills are required to join the weekly classes. There is one "Heels XXXTRA" class designed for those wanting more technical challenge. Classes run year-round on a monthly rotation structure.
