TSC Danceteam Salzburg

TSC Danceteam Salzburg teaches ballroom and Latin dance at the ASKÖ Sportzentrum Maxglan. Their core offering is competitive dance training (Turniertanz), where you learn both Standard and Latin American styles with the technique and choreography needed for competitions. Standard dances taught include Langsamer Walzer, Tango, Wiener Walzer and Quickstepp. Latin American styles are Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive. The studio emphasises that both disciplines receive equal weight in training. Although ballroom is a partner sport, individuals without a current partner can attend to work on technique alone.

They run a dedicated kids' competitive dance group (Turniertanz für Kinder) tailored to children and young people in content, level and learning pace. Children typically start with Latin American dances and progress to Standard later. Showdance für Kinder is a separate programme where children learn choreography to current songs, building coordination, harmonious movement and age-appropriate patterns.

The Hobbytanzkreis is a relaxed weekly social dancing group for couples. Classes cover Langsamer Walzer, Tango, Wiener Walzer, Quickstepp, Foxtrott, Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive, Mambo, Discofox and occasional specialty dances — designed to prepare you for ball season.

Zumba classes combine aerobic exercise with Latin American dance rhythms. No dance experience is required, and you set your own intensity. Private lessons are available with all trainers and instructors at times when the studio is not running group classes. The studio is open to custom requests: if you have a particular dancing goal not covered by regular groups, contact them and they will design an individual package.

You'll find a serious ballroom and Latin dance training environment. Classes are structured by level and goal — whether you're preparing for competitions, learning social dances for balls, joining a kids' group, or taking Zumba for fitness. The studio works with partners and solo dancers alike.

Zumba requires no prior dance experience and welcomes self-paced participation; the Hobbytanzkreis teaches social dances in an informal atmosphere for couples learning together.
