Kochari, traditional group dance

UNESCO ICH element 01295 — Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. State Party: Armenia. Inscribed 2017 at 12.COM. Year read directly from the element page 2026-08-25. PRIMARY SOURCE for LODance style "kochari" (publication_status=research). RIGHTS: the facts are free to use and cite. The official DESCRIPTION TEXT carries no licence statement on ich.unesco.org — UNESCO CC BY-SA IGO covers UNESDOC Open Access publications, NOT ICH element pages — so cite and paraphrase, do NOT paste it into a page and do NOT ingest it into the knowledge corpus until a licence is established. PHOTOGRAPHS are excluded from UNESCO's own CC terms and credited to named photographers: do NOT rehost them. COUNTERPART INSCRIPTION: Azerbaijan holds a separate and differently-listed element for the same dance family — UNESCO ICH 01190, "Yalli (Kochari, Tenzere), traditional group dances of Nakhchivan", Urgent Safeguarding List, 2018, 13.COM. Cite BOTH on the Kochari page and attribute each to its own State Party. Presenting only one is taking a side by omission.
