About this studio
Académie de Danse Jacquemin has taught dance across Lille and Lambersart since 1980, with a team of state-qualified instructors. The academy operates five studios across two locations: three in central Lille near Métro République, and two in Lambersart, each with over 100 square metres of space. All studios feature professional parquet floors, mirrors and fixed barres.
Classes run Monday to Saturday for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers. Children can start from age 4. The academy offers Danse Classique, Danse Jazz, Modern'Jazz, Danse Contemporaine, Barre à Terre (both classical and contemporary variants), Danse Hip-Hop (Lambersart only, for children and teens), Danse Rock en Couple (Lambersart only), and Gym Danse (adults only). Your first trial class is free, and instructors will help you find the right level and time slot during that session.
Every two years, the academy stages a major performance at Théâtre Sébastopol in Lille, where students can perform on one of the city's most established stages. The academy also runs intensive dance workshops and summer courses in July and August, with recent summer offerings in Classical, Jazz, and Contemporary styles.
The Lille studios are located in the city centre near secondary schools and grandes écoles, designed to let students balance school, work and dance. The Lambersart studios sit in the heart of that commune, close to local colleges and secondary schools, offering a calm and accessible environment for families in the surrounding area.
