About this studio
Diego Blanco founded Tango for All NL in 2020 in Rotterdam with a mission to cultivate and promote an innovative understanding of tango teaching, social dance events and performances. His teaching philosophy is built on the belief that tango is for all and everyone can learn to dance. Through communication between partners and the movement of tango's time-honoured steps, Diego's approach opens a world of self-discovery and profound joy.
The studio offers two core class tracks. Deconstruct Tango is an intermediate-level class that focuses on owning 10 basic steps, musicality, and the connection that unites the couple into a harmonious personal dance expression. Tango Dialogue is the advance class, building on Deconstruct Tango through dynamics and textures to create an advanced dialogue of your dance. The curriculum evolves gradually from the very basics needed to feel comfortable in a practice jam or practica, to the skills needed to feel great at a tango party or milonga.
Private lessons are 55 minutes long and allow you to work at your own pace and reach the level you want faster. You can come alone, with a partner, or bring up to two couples. The studio recommends a balanced tango diet of one weekly group class, two weekly milongas or practicas, and one monthly private lesson. A 24-hour cancellation policy applies to private bookings.
Online classes are also available. The couples class deconstructs and reconstructs tango technique week by week, with the first hour breaking down a tango technique through exercise, music and practice, and the second hour putting the technique more formally into the dance. Feedback and instruction happen in real time, and you can ask questions and connect with other dancers. Diego teaches with his partner, Elif, providing live demonstration.
