About this studio

Bachata Denver was founded in 2018 by international dancer Pierre T. and is located at 1115 Acoma St, Denver, Suite 206, in the Evans School building. The studio offers a welcoming social atmosphere where dedicated dancers can learn and grow together through weekly group classes, private lessons, Bachata weekenders, and social dance parties.

Group classes run throughout the week at multiple levels. Mondays feature Bachata; Tuesdays offer two separate 4-week courses (one starting at 7pm with Beginner Bachata and Advanced Beginner Bachata, another at 6:30pm with Advanced Beginner and Intermediate Bachata); Wednesdays include an 8pm Beginner Salsa class; Thursdays are exclusive beginner classes (Absolute Beginner at 6:30pm and Beginner Bachata at 7:30pm, not included with unlimited memberships); and Sundays feature a 4-week course at 6:30pm with Beginner and Advanced Beginner Bachata. A free special Absolute Beginner class is offered on 6 August from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, followed by a Beginner Bachata class from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

The studio's main focus is Modern and Sensual Bachata, including partnerwork, footwork, lady styling, and musicality classes. Dancers aged 16 and above are welcome. You do not need a dance partner to join classes; the studio encourages both singles and couples to attend and often rotates partners during class. Walk-ins are welcome, though pre-registration is recommended to secure your spot. Arrive a few minutes before class starts with a water bottle, wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement, and bring dance shoes, dance heels, sneakers, or any clean, non-marking shoes—suede or leather soles are preferred for smoother turns.

Private lessons are tailored to your pace and style, ranging from 1 to 2 hours. General instructors charge £100 for 1 hour, £285 for a 3-hour package, £450 for 5 hours, or £850 for 10 hours. Pierre offers lessons at £120 per hour, £340 for 3 hours, £550 for 5 hours, or £1,050 for 10 hours. Alejandra charges the same rates as Pierre. The studio has 7 seasoned instructors available. Packages must be used within set timeframes: 1-hour lessons within 1 month, 3-hour packages within 2 months, 5-hour packages within 3 months, and 10-hour packages within 6 months. Rescheduling requires at least 24 hours' notice; cancellations within 12 hours incur a 50% fee.

Membership options include a yearly unlimited membership for unlimited access to all classes, workshops, and socials throughout the year, and a monthly unlimited dance pass providing unlimited access to all classes and events. The studio also offers an instructor program for individuals interested in becoming a Bachata dance instructor, open to those with passion for dance, varying levels of dance experience, dedication to learning, strong communication skills, team collaboration ability, and teaching potential.
