About this studio
Ballet East teaches classical ballet to children from 18 months through adults in West Palm Beach. The studio's curriculum is organized into seven age-based levels: Little Leapers (ages 1.5–3), a parent-and-child class combining music, dance and interactive play; Petite Academy (ages 3–5), which combines imaginative play with age-appropriate instruction; Elementary Academy (ages 5–9), building confidence through foundational technique and creative expression; Junior Academy (ages 10–13), developing strong technique and artistry; Pre-Professional Academy (ages 14+), offering advanced training focused on refined technique, strength and performance preparation; and Adult Open Ballet Classes for teens and adults of all experience levels, designed to improve flexibility, reduce stress and support wellness.
The studio also offers a Homeschool Program and an Accelerated Training Program (ATP) for serious, committed students pursuing professional dance careers. These hand-selected students from Junior 2 through Pre-Professional receive training with award-winning educators in small class sizes.
The Ballet East Youth Ensemble (BEYE) provides the top 15% of students with exceptional performance and competition opportunities. BEYE dancers compete at Youth America Grand Prix, Universal Ballet Competition, American Dance Competition, Indianapolis International Ballet Competition and National YoungArts Foundation events. Dancers have earned top awards, scholarships and acceptances to prestigious summer training programs. Auditions are held through the Summer Repertory Intensive (July 27–August 7, 2026), dedicated audition dates (August 29, 2026), or individual auditions scheduled during regular class time.
The studio runs summer programs including a Kids Summer Dance Camp and Summer Intensive Programs. First-time students begin with a One-Week Class Pass for $20, which can be applied to first-month tuition. New students can attend all eligible classes for their level over 7 consecutive days, attended by certified staff in a warm, supportive environment. The studio has a viewing window for parents to observe classes and offers multiple opportunities for families to participate together, emphasizing community and belonging alongside technical development.
