Beverly Hills Dance Studio is led by Oleg Astakhov, a professional dancer, choreographer and competitor with 12 years of teaching experience. The studio specialises in world-class instruction across International Latin, American Rhythm, American Smooth and Trend Dances. Oleg's competition credentials include Millennium DanceSport Open Professional finalist, California Open Professional Championships bronze medalist, US National Professional Finalist, Rising Star Latin Champion, US Open Professional Rising Star bronze medalist, and victories at the Millennium Dance Sport Championship, Embassy Ball and Emerald Ball.

The studio's teaching method centres on Pro/Am coaching, where you dance directly with a professional instructor rather than needing a partner. Oleg guides you through every step, working on technique, styling and rhythm to build your confidence. The approach is tailored to your goals — whether you're dancing for fitness, fun, competition or a special event. You'll improve your fitness, rhythm and posture while receiving undivided attention and personalised feedback.

International Latin covers Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive. American Rhythm teaches Cha Cha, American Rumba, Bolero, East Coast Swing and Mambo. American Smooth includes Slow Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot and Viennese Waltz. Trend Dances encompass Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Lambada, Argentine Tango, Hustle and Push Pull. The studio also offers wedding dance choreography, with packages designed to prepare couples for their first dance using music of their choice. Lessons include music selection, choreography with a written script, and instruction in figures like turning boxes, under arm turns and dips.

The studio runs DanceSport competitions across the country and welcomes students to participate at their level. Oleg brings in top coaches, judges and professionals throughout the year to provide access to elite-level training. Kids' programmes are available from age 5 and up, with specially developed teaching programmes to prepare children for Juvenile, Junior, Pre-Teen and Teen Latin dance competitions and showcases. Oleg Astakhov is the founder and lead instructor, a professional dancer and competitor with 12 years of teaching experience specialising in adults from beginner to advanced level. JJ Rabone is an experienced Open Latin Competitor and choreographer, winner of California Open 2017 and 2018, Vegas Open 2017 and 2018, and a finalist on season 12 of FOX's So You Think You Can Dance. JJ specialises in private lessons for adults and kids in Latin dances and Hip Hop.
