About this studio
Carma Tango Academy is a dedicated Argentine tango school in Turin offering weekly classes in tango, milonga and vals at all levels. The teaching approach focuses on giving students the technical and expressive tools to develop their own tango, rather than teaching fixed steps and figures. Two named instructors, Letizia and Giacomo, lead the school and are consistently praised in reviews for their passion, availability and ability to create an environment where learning progresses naturally from the first class through to dancing in milongas.
The school runs several class formats. Core weekly courses cover tango, milonga and vals separately. Themed tango workshops are offered periodically to explore specific aspects of the dance. Tango Zeta is a special program designed for dancers under 30, described as a fresh and engaging path to learn from the very beginning through to advanced levels alongside peers of the same age. Tango Break is a lunchtime format designed to give you a mental break mid-day while staying active and enjoying the rhythm and wellbeing that comes from dancing.
The school is located in Turin and operates in collaboration with Carma Dance Studio. Contact is available by phone on 011/539909. The academy offers free trial lessons. Reviews across 43 Google ratings (5.0 average) consistently highlight the professional and passionate teaching, the inclusive and welcoming group atmosphere, and the way the school fosters a genuine connection to tango as a form of personal expression and emotional experience rather than pure technique.
