About this studio

Confidiva Dance Studio is a boutique heels dance studio for women in Budapest, located at Szépvölgyi út 44 in the LOFT & STUDIO rooms of La Place Studio. The studio specializes in high heels dance combined with Latin ballroom foundations, floorwork, and sensual movement—a signature style called Latin High Heels that blends refinement and femininity with strength and attitude.

Founded in August 2023 by Dalma Paulovics, the studio offers a confidence-first approach to dance training. Classes are taught in English, though Hungarian is also spoken. The studio runs beginner and intermediate/advanced tracks separately, with beginner classes at 60 minutes per week and intermediate/advanced at 90 minutes per week. New courses start every three weeks, with strictly limited spots to maintain personal attention in small groups. Summer offerings include intensive mini-courses (2 × 90-minute sessions), free open classes, and themed workshops like the Summer Vibes Heels & Video Workshop.

The core offering includes Confidiva Heels Foundations & Fluidity (for newcomers to heels dance) and Confidiva Heels Artistry & Execution (for dancers with strong foundations wanting to refine technique and performance). Each class includes warm-up, dance workout, technical practice, choreography, and cooldown stretch. The studio also offers a signature private program called Good Girls Gone Diva: a 12-session transformational program over three months, delivered as 1.5-hour private sessions that include warm-ups, choreography in high heels dance and solo Latin, floorwork basics, video feedback, stage presence coaching, and a professional videoshoot at the end.

The studio space features mirrors and a wooden floor. Changing rooms are located on the lower level (floor -1) and are described as elegant and clean. Classes welcome women mostly in their 20s and 30s, but the studio is open to older dancers who enjoy feminine choreographies. Instructor Dalma Paulovics began dancing at age 7 with Acrobatic Rock 'n' Roll and later trained seriously in Latin Ballroom for eight years, competing and performing with a partner. In 2017 she and her partner won the Budapest Championship in Latin Ballroom. She has also trained in Brazilian Samba, pole dance, exotic pole dance, and high heels dance. Her teaching career began in 2014 in Italy, where she taught Latin Ballroom, Zumba, and AquaZumba; she later taught at a five-star hotel and luxury gym in Budapest before opening Confidiva.
