Cours de Danse Organique et Modern-Jazz

Studio Archipel is a 100 m² dance and movement studio at 1 bis rue Étienne Antoine in Montpellier, run as a collective of professional artists and teachers. The studio operates regular classes across multiple disciplines: contemporary dance for teens and adults, organic dance combined with modern jazz and classical barre, Isadora Duncan technique, rock and West Coast swing, aerial practices (silks, hammock, hoop), expression and movement for seniors, contemporary theatre, dance therapy, and a range of yoga and somatic practices including Pilates, Feldenkrais, Yin and Hatha yoga, Iyengar yoga, and meditation.

Teachers include Sylvie Deluz (contemporary dance), Macha M. Bastide (organic dance, modern jazz, classical barre), Julie Dubois (Isadora Duncan technique), Guilhem Benoux (rock and swing), Felipe Heredia (contemporary dance workshops), Hanna Eckhardt (Pilates and contemporary dance), Svetlana Lo (aerial practices), David Azema (expression for seniors), Aliénor de Lambilly (contemporary theatre), and specialists in Feldenkrais, Pilates, yoga styles, dance therapy, and meditation. Each instructor maintains direct contact with students.

The studio describes itself as a place of learning and creation, welcoming choreography rehearsals, workshops, regular courses, and special events within an artistic and creative framework. Drop-in visitors are welcome to attend classes and meet teachers directly during class times to ask questions. The studio is available for hire: 20 euros per hour for creation or rehearsal sessions (50% discount for dance students and auditions), 25 euros per hour for workshops, and 19 euros per hour for regular weekly instruction.
